Is "goat humping" turning the right hip so that the hands drop from whichever plane they are on back to the elbow plane?

If my hands stay on the Elbow or "belly button' plane, and I turn back and through, it feels like Rory McElroy's swing I imagine. I have a short thumb Hogan grip. It is the flattest of all swings it seems.

Does this makes sense?

Dude if you feel like a combo of Rory and Hogan go with it. Goat humping requires a pelvic thrust towards the goat or plane line . Best to ask Bucket about that thing .. I don't "know" goats like he does.

I knew that was coming err, never mind. :happy3:

But seriously, the pelvic thrust is at least, Axis tilt, has to be right?

Maybe that is why it's effective?

Thanks all, O.B. and Mike O.

I know I shift because, for myself only, Top is at/near turned shoulder plane and impact is at/near elbow plane. I do want to retain those alignments for practical reasons. I have the feel that my shift is more continuous than a sharp angle. I think I have a geometric explanation. Axis tilt. "turns" the axis of the shoulder plane and adds a cross plane appearance that is automatic shift. ie. looking down the line, a down-plane delivery is no shift if the axis is not tilted but the tilt will produce an apparent eliptical delivery path. ( Hogan's tilted plane ??) Or exactly as O.B. video shows- depending on your perspective.

Please NOTE that At this point I am saying this is what I do and how I see it-
