I think the difference between my 7 iron (new and improved) of almost a full carry of 160 yards from 145 and Lynn's hitting my 7 iron, was 25 yards or so of carry. I know Lynn hit my 7 iron more than 180 yards and it didn't look tired when it got there!

Lynn flat out mashes the golf ball. Watching Lynn hit balls is almost as fun as a lesson with him. His short game skills are quite good as well.
I remember one of the first times I was in Atlanta with my brother, Lynn gaves us an impromptu chipping/pitching lesson. When he was demonstrating, he asked me to walk to the other side of the short game area - 20 yards or so - and stand there while he hits a shot at my foot to show my brother the technique. I had to move my foot on Lynn's first attempt - it was a perfect shot.
