Well, I am still confused about left forearm roll not being a horizontal hinging when being Accumulator #3.?

But otherwise I think the clue is that the clubface does what the level left wrist does. If it is straight to the inclined plane it is just like a door closing in a hitter's action with the angled hinging motion.

In a vertical hinging the left forearm takes the wrist in a more palm down rotation (to the right) and thereby making the clubface horizontal( lying flat like a table to put a glas on) for the higher, softer shots.

In a horizontal hinge motion with a more palm up move there is a extra quarter role on both the left forearm/wrist and the clubface compared with the angled hinging so the clubface will point toe straight up (like a flag pole) at the end of the followthru, when more length/roll is needed in the shot at hand.

So the angled hinging is neutral/square to the inclined plane.
Horisontal adds a quarter roll to the left in the wrist, vertical hinging makes a similar quarter role to the right.

If nobody protests I hope this is correct. If the corrections come - we'll both have to study it carefully.

(Actually I'm missing something too - I tend to think the opposite of the terms regarding what is horizontal and vertical (when looking at the clubface, but I just have to learn what the motions are and forget that the terms are confusing, so I think I know what the hinging looks like and just get used to the labels used for these motions).(Maybe it helps to think where the sweetspot of the clubface is pointing? Is a nail hammered straight into the sweetspot pointing vertical or horizontal from the sweetspot in the followthru - that's probably correct? Angled is in between the two other hinging motions - about 45 degrees(?))
