Both Arms Straight is compression

Luke you said once that Follow Through, Both Arms Straight was in your opinion another Essential (or some such thing). It made quite an impression on me. Getting there for little chip shots (which Ive been hitting for decades) made the ball compress like never before, a "what the....." moment for me. Phil does it nicely too for wedge shots. Im trying to get it into all my shots. "#1 is always Driving". Save some right arm for the ball. The Right Shoulder plays a huge part , axis tilt etc.

Luke Im wondering why it works? I get the thrusting through the ball part but there's something else there I think? Something Geometric maybe. Is it the clubhead orbit? Thrusting all the way down? Thrusting towards the plane line post low point? Its a 1-L thing I bet. I didnt know you could compress those little shots like that.
