"I resemble those remarks". The guy next to me at the range has a mixed set of beatup knockoff clubs. His setup is incredibly close to IF. Left grip in his fingers, right grip through the trigger finger up through the palm fissure. He takes the club to the turned shoulder, as he turns his wrists. Drives right down at the ball and rolls. Ball takes off at 160 mph for 100 yds, then turns hard left or right for another 100+ yds..... 90 out of 100 balls.

In relative terms of time, I've been an LBG/TGMer for a cup of coffee. He quit golf 2 instructors and 3 years ago. No way I'm walkin' away from that without speaking up.

I think it's an age thing.
