If you move the Ball
forward as I recommended above, you won't have to move your Head
back.
And your current major problem on the Downstroke is excessive Hip Slide causing excessive Axis Tilt. Why would you want to encourage that situation at Address?
I suggest you spend a lot of time in Basic and Acquired Motion. Assemble your Stroke Components in the order listed, and you will replace the vagueness of tired bromides -- "Get your head behind the ball" -- with the precision alignments of
