6bmike - Thanks for your replies, I take the point of not letting the pivot stop and shutting down the highway, I know I have a tendency to allow that to happen, which doesn't help.

The pivot is not a spin but a weigh transfer plus rotation. I had the problem of stopping the pivot to slug at the ball. I re-designed the pivot hip action to build the Lane for the hands and arms which allowed me to continue to rotate
with my Educated hands. In fact, now stopping is a braking action and who does that?
It is the hands not the pivot attached to the club but I feel my right hip and hands strike through the ball at the same time.
