On TGC the other night they had his swing up on an analyzer with plane lines. The downswing has a shift down to the elbow plane.
So it's not really a Yoda style Turned Shoulder Plane stroke. I'm not sure of the other components JL uses.
I think his teacher had been Randy Smith, but he has transitioned to Butch Harmon in the last year or so.
