The instructor's primary job is to inform and explain and Yoda has performed that job perfectly. Even though their playing ability should not determine the quality of their teaching ( do as I say, not as I do), I find it satisfying to learn they can perform on the course also, using the principles they've taught (or do they? ). Yoda's post on his low round of 70 on a champion course- a good score by any Touring Professional's standard- has confirmed that I'm learning from the right guy!
Ever thought about joining the Champions Tour?

Amazing, but having seen you hit balls and witnessed your passion for the game and TGM, not totally unexpected. The old adage of, "those who can, do---those who can't, teach" obviously doesn't apply to you!! (or Ted). Keep it going----and I've added you to my list of people to never play for money!!! HA! Congratulations!
Yoda,
Congratulations on your round! Can anything rival that feeling a golfer gets after shooting a really good round? All the hours of practice, reading, searching, thinking, mental toughening, coming together can be really sweeet! Someone who posts regularly on this forum likes to use the phrase "You either do or you don't". You did. I know this round is particulary meaningful to you so enjoy it. Wait'll next time!!!

My two last rounds were a 83 with 4 double bogeys (Tall Grass Links) and on the green course at Bethpage I shot a 78 with a terrible driver.
