Yes I've seen it and I think Padraig has an awsome motion there.
It is very interesting (to me anyway) to note that he has much more Accumulator #4 left for impact in his Happy Gilmore swing than his stationary swing.
Also, I think the footwork can serve as a model of what we should try to achieve (in a slightly down scaled version perhaps) when we hit the ball from a stationary stance.
You will see similarities in the footwork of Sadlowski, Bubba Watson, MacIlroy and a few others that Kelvin Myiahira uses as swing models in his investigations. They all seem to move their feet and rotate their toes to enable a wider range of pivot rotation.
1. Notice how he stays turned/backs into the ball . . . no over the top stuff . . . lower body separate from upper body (maximus hula hula) . . . . Do you think hip slide may just be important?
2. Pivot DOES MATTER in increasing distance. I wouldn't argue that most of the distance comes from Zone 2 as Mr. Kelley said . . . but an efficient powerful pivot will maximize distance and accuracy . . . an inefficient one can destroy cricitcal alignments.
3. Padrig shouldn't make them goofy faces when he hits balls.
