This is a wild shot, but what the hey? Why do baseball players swing a bat with their dominant hand away from the pitcher? So that their dominant hand can support the reactive force of hitting the ball from the most advantageous point, behind the bat.
In golf, there is the supporting role, but also a precision role. In TGM, most of the sensing is in the right hand (PP#1 and #3). Wouldn't you rather have your dominant hand directing traffic than your non-dominant hand?
