At long last I feel validated!

I am right hand dominant, prefer to swing, and I play left handed.

What does it mean then, that most right swinging players are left hand dominant?

This is a wild shot, but what the hey? Why do baseball players swing a bat with their dominant hand away from the pitcher? So that their dominant hand can support the reactive force of hitting the ball from the most advantageous point, behind the bat.

In golf, there is the supporting role, but also a precision role. In TGM, most of the sensing is in the right hand (PP#1 and #3). Wouldn't you rather have your dominant hand directing traffic than your non-dominant hand?

Personally, it would have to be my left (I'm righty). I have a lot of trouble hitting the ball with my right hand only. Left hand only, I do ok.

Don't forget that the arm you choose is the one you will putt with too.

I'd go with my right arm. It seems you'd have more shot options that way. How are you going to hit a shot out of deep fairway rough with only your left arm? At least with your right arm you essentially have both hitting and swinging at your disposal.

And right arm putting is really easy too.
