Too Cool!
Have a Martini for me, Lynn. I will certainly be there in spirit.

Ted Fort, 2006 Georgia Section PGA Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony
Ted Fort, recently named the 2006 North Georgia Chapter and Georgia Section PGA Teacher of the Year, received his award on October 30, 2006, at Idle Hour CC in Macon, Georgia. Ironically, as Ted noted in his acceptance speech while holding aloft his copy of The Golfing Machine, it was in this very room on February 14, 1983, while addressing the Georgia PGA, that Homer Kelley died at the age of 75. Sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction.
Here are a few photos from the Awards Ceremony. Enjoy!

Good Things Happenin to Good People
It really feels good seeing proof positive that good things happen to good people as it always should be. Ted so richly deserves these accolades. It looks like everyone had a great time as well although it looks like the little one was ready for bed! Congrats again to Ted. Such a nice guy with a wonderful family.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)
