Eye Dominance
I don't remember seeing anything in the book about the position of ones head in regards to eye dominance.

If you are left eye dominant, do you turn your chin to the right - looking at the ball mostly from that left eye? Or whatever?

Anybody have any theories?

Geoff Mangrum can answer this. His site has some stuff on this - eye dominance and placement of the gaze, particularly when it pertains to putting.

Its a myth IMO.... has anyone actually ever done any study on dominance of eyes yet so many teachers (in sports - golf....pool/snooker....) seem to be experts.....that might be more telling....lol. Could it be that it makes no sence.?

How much more dominant can one eye be as you see out of both. Im not aware that the brain functions one eye more than the other..... unless you lost an eye ...that might be different....

Actaully studies have been done regarding the eyes. Here is a link to a site that talks and of course sells a product regarding the eyes.

I have read the book and it is based on sound research and has proven results. Unfortunately for me, I can only focus one eye at a time, it didn't do anything. The site does give some insight to what is behind it.

Ive seen research that says you can hit longer and straighter using one tee peg over another. Even on the last forum we partook in many moons ago had reseach that the master groover golf trainer works....

People are money to them and they distort truth (if they know it) to their own ends... its unfortunately the way of the world....

I wouldn't dismiss this out right. You might want to read the book. A number of pro's have used these techniques, granted they may be up in years, but the research appears to be vaild, just as the research the military has done on eye sight.

Oh, it doesn't guarantee a subpar round. You may find that you are already doing everything right, or you may find the exercises help you, not only in golf but other aspect of life.
