I love computers.

Is the site going faster for anyone? I know we're not at an 11 on the stimp meter, but are we doin' better than earlier today/this evening?

no faster. Imagine you're on the sixth hole, you just made a great drive, and your cart battery goes dead. And then the ranger throws you off the course.

So, It's actually moving slower (cable modem, very high speed cable) and I've been bumped off a few times too.

I'm sympathetic. It's just that my screen froze and I had to stare at Birdie_Mans picture for 5 minutes and it was driving me insane.
