Just a quick question about the frozen Right Wrist (Right Handed Hitter). Does it stay frozen all the way through the golf swing? If not, at what point does it straighten? And along the same line, does the firm Left Wrist ever bend in the hitter's swing?
I've been reading varying posts on this so now I'm a bit confused.
I asked him essentially the same question on another forum and his response was:
"The right wrist does not stay bent to finish. If you can do that, you're better than me. However, it does stay bent until after impact. Once you get past low point to both arms straight, the club has to continue up-plane. The right wrist can't stay bent.
What we see most of the time in average to below average golfers is the right wrist straightening well before impact."
Thanks stilltrying,
I'm in Palm Springs for a week, working with one of my Tour players. That's why the time of the post looks a little crazy. I appreciate you passing that info on to him.
