The angle of the right leg does not change... just like Mr. Hogan.

What type of Shoulder Turn is he using? Looks like either Rotated or On Plane.

This shot was a draw....so therefore his plane line was slighly right of the TL....thus the hip slide was more parallel to the right ...thus affecting the axis tilt to some degree...BUT we don't want to discuss degrees for that would mean a "quantifiable approach" ....

thank you for your comments ... do you have any rear pictures of a cut? and, could you please detail the differences in address (ball position, axis tilt, right leg inclination, etc) and swing alignments that are employed to produce the most basic (mid-high trajectory, mid-amount of curvature) left-to-right and right-to-left shot patterns. thanks.

Well...

Here are some comments ....

Notice.... the hip slant is up in the directon of the straightened ledg and down in the direction of the flexed leg....obviously standard leg action has more hip slant than does the ever=popular right knee anchor....


Also Notice the Full Sweep Loading Action, Assembly, Storage, and the release


the Axis Tilt...the hip slide parallel to the delivery line..

Etc.... there is TOO much to comment on!!!!

Is there a weight shift to the right in the backstroke?

This is a draw hit from the right side of the fairway to a front left pin at the CVS Charity in Worcester, Mass... I know that for a FACT...he hit 3 different amounts of "curvature" from the same location best I remember !!!!


you're right ...he hits mostly fades...but this is not one...this is a Tom Watson Draw probably window 7...

10-14-C says that Shiftless "tends toward a soft stroke." "It can produce an On Plane Downstroke Shoulder Turn only with the Rotated Shoulder Plane Angle."

Is this the case here? Mac seems to prove that Shiftless, can be used for POWER shots also.
