I've always strugged with hanging back, or as Yoda calls it(perverted axis tilt). I've been working diligently on attempting to get my weight back over to the left side to finish on balance. Finally I have found something that seems to work relatively consistently and that's setting up with an open stance(ala: Fred Couples). I'm more on plane at finish and don't drop under plane. This stance with my angled hinge hitters motion results in a pretty consistent fade. Swing feels much freeer as I'm able to clear the arms and don't feel so jammed up.
It seems counterintuitive to what you typically see on tour which is a square stance, is this an appropriate way to play long term??
