I'm curious as to how many swingers utilize angled hinging to create certain shots and what the proper execution should be. I understand the hinging "tendencies" of swinging and hitting, but I'll occasionally use an angled hinge to produce a "higher left-to-right" shape shot if needed. In doing so I try to achieve a "no roll feel" thru impact, but I'm afraid I do that by "holding off" the natural roll via a "tensing up" of the left wrist/hand. I suspect that's probably not the proper way to execute it and that it has more to do with "rhythm".
