Or do you mean a slowing in the rate of acceleration as opposed to a general slowing down? That's an interesting question - I was talking about #2 only, and I believe that's what Cochran & Stobbs and/or Jorgensen was talking about. My hunch is that #4(pivot power) and roll power(fastest move in golf) can overcome the slowing, which would explain HK's statement.
