I've been doing a few here in the back garden & getting around 20'. Not that i think distance is the issue just that it might be an indicator of how well or badly the stroke is being made ? Or maybe there is a better measure ? ps if i am on the right lines, i think i get the principle that one doesn't add anything to the stroke & i'm looking for the drag the mop feeling & for the ball to spring off the face with a crisp sound. pps i'm totally new to these concepts & feel a bit in the dark so my apologies if they are dumb-arsed questions I'm going to go back through & see what else i can find on basic motion but post this anyway as a start off point. TIA fwiw i'm 48 yo, i've been playing for 7 years & currently play a 5.0 hcp that i would like to see a good bit lower. tim chapman View Public Profile Send a private message to tim chapman Find all posts by tim chapman
