Pitch Elbow without number 3 accumlutar

ok, I'm a natural hitter, however, sometimes in an effort to make sure I'm not releasing early, I'll work on a pitch elbow position.

Today, hitting balls I was using a natural swinging motion, however, closing the face slightly at setup, using a pitch elbow position, and no active number three accumulator. What I noticed was that I was getting the nicest little fade ball flight.

The question I have is that is you utilize pitch elbow will that naturally create layback unless you actively utilize number 3 accumulator? Ie: creating a fade ball flight.

Thanks

No. However, using a strong Horizontal Hinge will produce a Fade if the Ball is located 2 inches aft of the Right Forearm Angle of Approach.

Although you increased the Hook-Face, the Ball will Fade without a corresponding steeper Plane Angle. Increased Hook-Face means a faster Closing Ratio but does not guarantee that the Face will Close enough for Impact to produce straight-away flight.

Some things to notice from the Diagram above. First, get a Club, and grip the club with the Right Hand halfway down the shaft.

Play the Ball in the same location. First without adding Hook-Face, then add Hook-face. Notice that adding Hookface makes it necessary to move the Elbow closer to Low-Point to create a Square Clubface at Separation.

Some of the WORST advice I received as a kid, was to "Close the Clubface until the Ball goes straight".. Today, I wouldn't be opposed to tell someone to "Open the Clubface" until you learn to move he Right Forearm to the Angle of Approach for Impact.

What do you mean by "no active number three accumulator"?

Do you mean that you are not swiveling the club shaft (or back of the left hand) back on to the inclined plane after Follow Through? No Finish Swivel? That you're "under swiveling" , "holding it off" in common golf speak? That'd be a fade producer.

See the yoda video entitles Finish Swivel ....is that what you mean?
