Brian Gay Fundamentals Video
Yoda
I just viewed this newest video in the Gallery. Another gem .... you working with Brian and demonstrating his fundamentals...this is an incredible piece with so much good information ...I can hardly believe that this is given to us for being members of this FORUM. I have seen it once and I will be viewing it many more times...there is just too much to digest. Thank you very much for your time and efforts and to those who helped you put it together and please extend my thanks to Brian Gay for sharing his time and showing us his fundamentals in another classic video by LBG. Coming LBG Premium Video

This is one we filmed last November and were keeping under wraps pending a premium offering. We had stored it in The Gallery in such a way as to be limited to our own internal viewing. But, when we had our site snafu last week, we inadvertantly reloaded the entire Gallery collection without any such limitation. Hence, your discovery. Our plans to offer this video to the public (along with two other unseen Yoda videos and a total of about four hours of viewing) are nearing completion. In fact, the internal financial structure necessary should be in place within the next two weeks. They will be made available to Friends of Lynn Blake Golf at various levels of participation. These are not the Blake/Trolio videos that also will be available soon. So, for now, we have removed the Brian Gay and Lynn Blake -- Golf Stroke Fundamentals video from The Gallery. It runs a full sixty minutes, and as you have said, contains a wealth of information demonstrated by one of the game's best players with commentary (and similar demonstration) by Yoda. For now, here is a 6:22 minute preview that takes from several sections of the video. We had prepared it to run as part of the rollout of our Friends of LBG program. Thanks, hg, for your sharp eye and affording us the opportunity to jumpstart this new level of service. http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/gallery...to=313&cat=511 P.S. Be sure to right-click on the video screen and use your browser's capability for Full Screen viewing. :) |
might be slightly retarded or left-handed....lol doesnt seem to work.

I personally cannot say thank you enough times in my life, for starting this site. If it wasn't for this site I would have never gained the proper understanding of a golf stroke. Sure I still have a lot to learn, but at least I know what is correct these days. When I look back to the things I was working on 1 1/2 years ago I just laugh. Everything was just so Golf Digest in a way, sure I became very good at the things I was trying to accomplish, but I had to play and practice a lot to keep my form. Now things are just so much easier. I wish I had the time that I did as a junior player to work on the things that I have now learned. Anyways I would love to get an update on the new membership or the new videos. Nathan |

Address Positioning?
Yoda,
Great video ..... well worth the $. I am curious as to Brian's decision to use impact address position for his swinging procedure? I think you ask him in the video to discuss his reasons for using this but I don't think he ever really gets into it. I get the impression he used standard address at one time, but was now using impact. Thanks, CG |

The three videos I did with V.J. Trolio will be offered soon. These were produced professionally, i.e., with multiple camera angles and miking, and were originally intended as a DVD series. We may still offer that option, but the 'download' version speeds delivery and keeps down costs and hassles. Regarding Brian Gay's Address Position, he does tend toward 'Impact Hands,' i.e., Flat Left Wrist and Bent Right. That's the way he set his Flying Wedges when he first started learning the System, and he obviously has been successful that way. He feels he could do the same with 'Address Hands' -- Bent Left / Flat Right -- and does experiment with the procedure from time to time. However, he is reluctant to spend the time necessary to change, particularly given the results he is currently achieving. |
The opportunity to contribute is appreciated.

FINALLY got around to viewing this---too many recent distractions in my non-golfing life. Very well done. Have watched it 3 times so far and get new info each time. Those of us that are old enough enjoyed the Edward G. Robinson reference with the "you dirty rat" position. This should be required viewing for all TGM students, especially if you are just beginning the journey. Thanks to Yoda for his continued pursuit of spreading the truth and to Brian Gay for allowing us to borrow an hour of his time.

What to expect?
I'm thinking about purchasing but a quick question. Does Lynn go through the TGM basics with Brian Gay as the "demonstrator"? Or is it Lynn explaining to us how Brian Gay's swing works?
Normally I wouldn't ask and just buy it, but I've quit my job to go back to school. Living on basically my wifes part-time income so I need to think twice before I make purchases. Obviously I'll need to show my wife that this is necessary for my survival, but that shouldn't be too hard. Thanks for any comments, Curtis |

Have you seen the preview clip? If not, go here and click on Brian Gay Preview: http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/gallery...ry.php?cat=511. In the Premium Video it is more of the same. About ten times more to be exact. And you can rely on Golfbulldog's observation in this thread's first post: It is about core concepts (with Brian's demo). It is not about Brian's own swing, except as it demonstrates those core concepts. :) |
That's what I was looking for, thanks Yoda. Looks like I'll have to kiss my wifes a........you get the drift. I'll find a way...

As you know, after sorting issues regarding payment, I got this video.
How do I download it to my hard drive? I am using Firefox to view it and it isn't giving me an option to save it. Will IE ask me whether I want to save it? Thanks in advance |
Right Click Link

Like any of the videos in the gallery, just right click on the video link and choose "save as" to your local disk in a directory where you can find it once it's downloaded. |

Would we be able to make our own dvds from these downloads on a "trust" basis? Much more comfortable to watch them on TV from the comfort of your armchair than sit staring at the computer screen. Either way I cannot wait to get my hands on this stuff.:salut: |
DVDs, Not Streaming

:-D If we discover that, for some reason, the DVDs won't work for some students in the world, we will offer a streaming and download option. :salut: |
