The best things in life are the things you earn. Not bad for a guy who has an 'unathletic golf swing.' Way to raise the bar...congrats, Brian and Lynn.

Fantastic.
The most dominant performance I've seen in a long time. Precision personified. Anybody who putts like that has the potential to do very well at Augusta next year and we know LBG looks good in green.
Congrats to Brian and Congrats to Lynn, must be special to see the tools you've given to a player used so well. |
Tournament Record
And our winner does it by 10. The man is a Machine!
Congratulations to all involved.:salut: |
Great stuff Brian (and Lynn) brilliant stuff
|
Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!
Feherty was mightily impressed, stating Brian's performance was the stuff we've only seen from Woods and Mickelson! Party at the Gay's!!! ![]() |
Wow
EPIC and BIG win at a GREAT venue.
Congratulations to the team. |
Way to Go!!
What a great final round from Brian Gay today.
|
TGM - the latest thing in G.O.L.F.
What a great day for Brian and TGM too.
Homer Kelley would be very proud of Brain and Lynn (and do a much better job with the swing analysis, those TV guys should buy the book if they want to stay current). Well done Brian! |
I love Vanilla
Great win Brian...congratulations...see you at Augusta....and to Lynn...this must be very special for you....Tim R of the Golf Channel just heaped a bunch of praise on to you my friend...states that Lynn Blake and the Golf Machine brought the precision Brian needed to go to the next level...awesome stuff.:)
|
Lynn and Brian,
Congrats on all your hard work. It couldn't have happened to two better guys. Thanks for letting us all cheer you on. Lynn, big things to come, like many I'm just glad to say I've learned some of Homer's Great Work from you. Sorting Through the Circuit Player's Handbook and Instructor's Textbook. B-Ray |
congrats to Lynn and Brian
If a 10 stroke win on a full field event PGA tour is a vanilla swing....sign me up for vanilla all day every day!
Great job by Brian, and so happy for Lynn and all he has done to help golfers of all abilities to better understand the swing, and most important to enjoy golf as a vocation or avocation. |
Blow out
That was an amazing finish. I watched from the sports betting section here at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Wish I would have put money on Brian when it all started but just got here last night.
Lynn called me as he was following Brian onto the back nine and was so happy to be there with Brian and his family. I was watching a monitor with bad reception but could have sworn I saw Lynn standing behind Brians family on 18. Signature white cap and salmon colored shirt. Just awesome how far Brian and Lynn have come in three short years. Here's to many more...:martini: |
Well done to BG and LB!!!
A stroll in the park. It doesn't matter that the guys on NBC don't know the terminology used by the TGM fraternity, they recognised awesome ball striking and some of the best putting this year! Great stuff! |
Congrats!
Awesome!
- Verizon Heritage Scoring Record - Record margin of victory for the tournament - First double digit margin of victory on TOUR since 2006 - A million bucks Pretty good week! :) |
Congratulations to Brian and Lynn.
I thought I saw Lynn hug Brian as he walked toward the scorer's tent. Just a fabuluous thing to watch when you know some of the people involved. |
now THAT guy deserves a golf see-gar!
|
Brian finally put 4 brilliant rounds together - there is no reason he can't continue the great play - would love to see him in the Ryder Cup!!!!!
|
on the phone
I spoke to Lynn a few minutes after the last putt. Understandably, he was more than excited. He said they were on their way to the trophy ceremony.
I sent a text to Brian asking if he could have won by more, and I told him that we were all proud of him. |
and while we're handing out kudos...
how about a red & white sandwich for Mr. Blake! ![]() |
Corks are Popping

I talked to Lynn when Brian was through 11..... "There's still more to play" says Lynn.... - yep - to increase that lead even more!!! Great playing Brian. A truly impressive win at one of the best courses on the planet, with a record setting victory. Kudos to Kip as well. Welcome to Augusta. Welcome to the Open. Lynn - to a lifetime of hard work - my most sincere of congratulations! Here's to all of you - :martini: See you at the playoff's! - EdZ |
Bravo !
Congrats to Brian and Lynn.
Way to go! UPP in drizzly Ohio |
great job brian :salut:

Wow!!!!!!
CONGRATS TO ALL!!!! |
We were watching the end of round 3 yesterday after a tournament and I announced again that Brian was working with Yoda. 2 years ago I got nothing but blank stares when I said that. Now I get more of a "really?!!" response.
Well done Brian.... very "surgical like"! Lots of talk about whether this validates the Mayakoba "off-field" event. Can you say VALIDATION?!! Well played, Comet |
It would be interesting to know how many events have been won by double didgits . . . . Stronger than a garlic milkshake. Beautiful thing . . . .
|
Congrats to Lynn, Tedd, Jeff, Brian G. and all of the others who contribute to this site. Well deserved, and great to see everyone's hard work and dedication paying off.
|
Smiling big time in Tennessee... great job guys... a relentless display of precision.... and a home run for Mr. Kelly's work :)
|
Pretty cool . . . checking out the replay on Golf Channel . . . . could see Lynnard walking in the gallery as BG put one right down the sprinkler heads.
|
Congratulations Brian and Lynn.
|
Congratulations to Brian and Lynn for a FIRST CLASS performance.
Also to John Riegger and Bobby Clampett for their wonderful play on the NW Tour. Homer Kelley is proud of you all! Kevin |
Oh Canada
Lynn my congradualtions to you!!!!!!!
I'm so excited for you and Brian. Watching today sure brought back memories of you teaching me and others the golf machine in hotels in Sandy Springs in the early 80's. All the best from your old Canada Life buddy who's been living in Va for the past 20 years. D. Faison :salut: |
Just got back home and put the fast forward on the DVR--- 10 freakin' shot victory!! Congrats Brian Gay! Congrats Lynn Blake! Dead tired now but staying up to check out Golf Central at 11:30 pm to see what the "experts" say. Can't wait to run the full telecast tomorrow night. This is good stuff. Sure hope I hit the ticket lottery for another Masters practice round next year. Wow---very exciting!
|
Magnificent validation for TGM and a payback for the tremendous and tireless work of Lynn for professional and hacker alike.
|
Great
Congratulations!! Lynn and Brian.:golf:

Demolition Derby
Just in from the Victory Party at Marley's on Hilton Head Island and posting from my Blackberry (not the easiest thing to do!). I've read all the congratulatory posts and wanted to say "Thanks" (as I'm sure Brian will once things calm down a little). Meanwhile . . .
Tonight was great fun with Brian and wife Kimberly, his mother, Margaret, and dad, Joe. Not to mention caddie Kip Henley and his brother, Brent, who caddies for Woody Austin. Plus a host of others, mostly family and friends, but a few business associates as well. Bucket asked above about double-digit PGA TOUR victories. Since such record keeping began (1970), there have been only six men to accomplish that feat: Tiger (four times); Phil; Johnny;Jose Maria; Steve Jones; and now, Brian, who decimated the Verizon Heritage field by TEN shots. Hey, am I a good teacher or what? :laughing9 |
