Hehe, Im still waiting on the corner for Kev , man he's taking his sweet time.

That other fella in the photo on the right is also a forum member, Kirk Clements from Pincher Creek , Alberta. After that session, his first with Yoda, Kirk dropped a few off his handicap and won his flight in his club c. The Judge dropped 4 shots but wont give the strokes back to me and I won a couple of tournies too despite my advancing years and waist line.

So if anyone wants to know why I love this place .............its improved and aligned compression. Yes self interest raises its ugly head again. Its a lot of fun to hang with Lynn too.

More to come too, God willing...........and if Kev ever gets here. Maybe Daryl can pick me up? Ill call him.

For those with a keen eye, the picture 3 is actually from Carnoustie (I am standing atop of one of the Spectacle Bunkers on the 14th Hole) rather than St Andrews. A long hole on a normal day but we were playing it downwind that day so it was driver and 8 iron for a 480 yard par 5 (Yoda wouldn't believe his caddie when he was told to hit the 8 iron from 170 yards)

I remember the 17th at St Andrews as the sun was just setting in the background you could see the shadows forming on the 1st/18th hole and the shadow of the Old Course Hotel falling onto the 17th fairway. Awesome stuff. Also Yoda fancied having a play in the road hole bunker too :D
That was an awesome week getting to hang out with Mr and Mrs Yoda as well as getting to meet Brian and Kip.
Thanks again Yoda, looking forward to seeing you next summer for the Scottish Open :D

I'm thinking I want in on this. Kev, swing by my place and leave your car in the driveway. I'll drive my subcompact. We should have room for a couple more guys with clubs on their laps and C-PAP machines in the trailer!

Okay, guys, my teaching center at Cuscowilla will be completed by the end of March. I'm thinking we need to schedule some sort of LBG Grand Opening celebration. You know, two or three days of 'in the bond' fun and fellowship, along with a heavy dose of Alignment Golf. With a little prodding, we may even be able to get Jeff and Ted (aka golfnome and yodasluke, two of the best teachers on the planet) to show up.

All complete with 'good guy' pricing!

Here's a sneak preview of the Lynn Blake Golf Academy at Cuscowilla.

Obviously, the interior specs are proprietary, but here's what's coming. I've been told by our 'name brand' video people that -- hands down -- this is the finest facility they've ever seen. Given that their existing clientelle represents a veritable 'who's who' in golf, that's a pretty bold statement.

trying not to sound ignorant but the large doors on the range side elevation, are those for hitting shots out of? Its not something we see in Phoenix with our weather situation.

Interesting that you are using pine cedar (shingles?) on the roof, is that common in Georgia, again its not something used much in AZ. I think that will look pretty cool.

Yes, that's the Teaching Bay, 24' wide. :shock:

And the cedar shingles and stacked stone encompassing the 2,400 sq ft facility are a nice touch, don't you think?

Inside the teaching bay, we have plenty of room for righties, lefties, and video-computerized down-the-line views, front views, rear views and overhead views. Plus all kinds of launch monitors, fitting carts, putting labs, wall charts and photos and just who knows what the heck all else!

There is also an interior conference center -- with lounge, fireplace, flatscreen TV, and refreshment area -- plus a Yoda office -- :yoda: <like I'll actually be there very much!> -- and storage.

Not to mention the build-up of hundreds of square yards of pristine turf in front and to the sides of the building, all maintained expressly for the purpose of helping my students learn to LAUNCH MISSLES toward the 'regular' folk 330 yards dead away!

Finally, six additional stations open directly onto the range. All are covered and feature climate controls for summer/winter.

As you said, gmb . . . "pretty cool".
