Agreed, thats why I also hit it over there too, twice, including my provisional. Thats the thing I like about you D, we both hate people who park illegally, Ben Crane thinks they're bastards. Or so the papers say anyways.

Why?

Because, that's the way most of us -- including tour players -- have been taught.

By their instructors (who were similarly taught) . . .

And, also, the mainstream book and magazine press.

Hitters are usually a dogged lot, simply going their own 'odd' way in spite of those who would have them do otherwise. And leaving, I might add, quite a number of swingers in their scoring wake.

Yoda,I really love that last paragraph...the main comment I get when playing with Hitters Pattern...."gee ,you hit that so effortlessly"..they obviously dont "FEEL" my R/forearm thrusting down from my right shoulder........of course I play along with them a bit....they start to swing with the seemingly"slow" tempo as I do........WHY doesnt my ball go as far as yours..I lol and say POWER.......just had to tell ya....cheers Bm:golf:

pro vs. duffer??

A good question might be.
Why is the percent hitters much lower on the tour than in the "amature" ranks?
Just a guess- 80 plus percent of tour players swing
95 plus percent of 15 plus handicap players hit.
Just an observation.

Needed some data, So I wandered down to the Ole driving range and as customers picked one of those well worm "clubs" out of the barrel ( figured they were 15+ handicap) I asked them. "Whatch gona do? 96.24 percent said they were "gona hit sum balls" - that covers that side of the data I needed. Then I remembered. the first question I asked the cadies as they carried that heavy bag of clubs over to the practice ground. Why Uah totin all those clubs out to the ground. 81.08 percent said. "so my pro can work on his/her swing. 11 percent didn't answer at all and the remainder just gave me some wise guy answer, but the data is conclusive. Now I don't have to say "i guess" or "Whatever" ever again.
