I'd love to see Wittenberg do well again this year. Some great playing in his first Masters.

I wouldn't rule out someone like Couples either - but if the rains come in Ernie and VJ -

Wittenberg

Wittenberg comes across as a complete jerk. I hope his attitude changes in that regard.

Unfortunate that can be the case with rising stars, I haven't seen much on him other than some on course coverage. Bummer to hear that he isn't a gentleman.

I can tell you that up here in Pittsburgh he(Wittenberg) and his family left a very bad impression with almost everyone they came in contact with at the U.S. Amateur at Oakmont. Heard some really obnoxious stuff ---won't go into it here. If anyone has a burning desire feel free to PM or email me. He is one of the few people I actually root against. That's enough negativity for now----back to work! Dave

Wittenberg was in the field at the TOUR's U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee last summer when I was caddying. I was down by the caddy area, grabbing a sandwich, and Wittenberg's caddy was also down there with the bag and was talking to Casey. As far as I can remember, Casey was either bossing him around pretty badly or blaming him for something. On top of that, I believe he was complaining about how bad his caddy was the other week or something. I don't think I saw Casey make a facial expression during this little exchange.

Whatever it was, he looked like a completely stuck-up little kid. Of course all the players 'officially' wish him well but not very many like his attitude. When you ask them they'll sometimes just shrug or say something neutral. But very few of them enjoy having what they see as 'kids' running around on Tour.

Given that kind of feedback, I take back my earlier comments!

Life is too short for that kind of B.S.

If you are lucky enough to play a game for a living, the least you should do is realize just how lucky you are. Respect is earned, and not demanded!

But I guess some still haven't figured out the 'golden rule'......

I'd love to see Zach Johnson do well, he sure can putt! I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Ames do well too.
