This photo sequence of Tiger Woods' long iron stinger shot shows ball-clubface separation well before the club reaches its low point. The clubhead is still descending to the low point in the last photo image in the series.

Look at that shaft lean and how much down he has on a 2 iron! NO wonder it comes out so low! For this shot he may be moving the ball back in his stance , back of low point, setting himself up for more down and out through impact. Adjusting his machine for the impact conditions and shape of shot he desires. A trapped, super low shot. He'd have to compensate for how much out he has maybe. An open club face? Aim right? Hold off the release swivel? Angled hinge? Anyone know what his mechanics are on his stinger?
