Weekend Play

Wow!...Tiger out...Duval in...that's a switch.

The cut

gives that Tiger played 39 consecutive majors without missing a cut.

So what was Nicklaus longest streak of making cuts in majors.

You guessed it.

39

At the old Wembley Stadium thirty nine steps needed to be climbed to reach the Royal box and collect a winner's trophy.

GO Duval!

I want him to come back.

One more big dog to add to the excitement.

To reward accuracy the greens should be smaller, like the greens I play on. It's astounding that a player who accurately shoots at the pin, is then penalised by having the ball roll yards away simply because the ball was on the "wrong side" of the cup.

If they really want to test player's skill they should issue each player with an identical set of off-the-shelf clubs, the same ball and ban practice rounds and caddies :)
