I know that this creates a longer distance for the clubhead to travel during release, but I don't know of any reasons why this could be a good (or bad) thing. You are correct, bobbj. And minimizing the #3 Angle serves only to enable the player to Delay longer the Release (and thus increase Clubhead Speed for any given Handspeed per 2-M-2-4).
