My Happy Place
After declaring that I have returned to Hitting in 09,I can honestly say that Im in a very "happy place"after all the experimenting in the last year.
My h.cap has gone from 7 to 8,but I dont care as I purposely gone out and what ever componant I set out to use I stuck with it and never gave a hoot where the ball went that day.
But in saying that,I was taking note of all results of different things I worked on and got it to a place whereby it was "workable" and stayed with it before moving on to next componant.
There was a few days where I thought it would have been better to stay home and there were days where it all just came together,Thats golf,A few of my mates thought I was crazy messing with my swing as they thought it was a good swing and why change it,I knew in my own mind that there were a lot a bad things in my swing that had to be fixed if I was to improve,Thanks to LBG ,golfguru and P hart, and of course Homers yellow bible it is now at a place where Im very happy and comfortable.

Im staying with Hitters pattern for my main game with the knowlege that I can turn to Swingers pattern if the need arises at any time for whatever reason "CONFIDENTLY",thats a hell of a back-up to have in the bag. Im not saying its perfect by a long shot but its a lot better than where I was.

I guess in essence what this thread is all about is ,never be afraid to take a few bad hits in your game when your changing something for the better, just have the confidence to hang in there as long as you know the change is for the better, and as far as I can see ,a person just cant do better than following Homers principle.

Sorry for the rant ,I just had to say it as I felt....Cheers B

There is no ranting my friend. You gave it a go and found it didn't work out for you but it also meant that you are a little bit further down the road in your learning. At least now you can do both Hitting and Swinging to a certain level and that adds another layer to your game.
You still doing Dart's 'In the slot' drill?
