I think I shall give up swinging, since I can't fully rotate ,even in slo-mo practice.
For hitters, the plane and target line are parallel to each other and the same for swingers.
After taking up the slack as shown in the Yoda clip, one then drives PP3 and PP1 to an aiming point with right arm thrust. I assume the pivot isn't doing anything important except not getting in the way, since CF is not supposed to be contributing. Hips slide towards the ball instead of towards the target.
Question: Do I imagine a line from PP3 at the end of the backswing to the ball, and that line keeps going out to the right? Anyone got a diagram of what lines I hsuld be looking at, imagining, or drawing? For swingers, the blur of the clubhead goes from inside out then square then outside in, all onplane. For hitters, should the blur of the clubhead start inside out, and continue doing so, crossing the plane line?
The motion is circular at startdown instead of linear as it is in swinging. I am not getting how one does a right arm thrust punching motion towards the ball and do it in a circle. DOes the punch only occur at the impact interval?
Thanks a lot for those who take some of their valuable time for reading this.
